Fingermark Bream caught in Jacky Jacky Creek

Fingermark Bream caught Jacky Jacky Creek May 07

70cms of Fingermark Bream caught early in May in the mangrove lined Jacky Jacky creek system. A unique waterway with no human habitation anywhere along the hundreds of kilometres of interlocking estuaries. Home to crabs, baramundi and fingermark bream, it is also the best lace to see large crocodiles in the wild. On the east coast of the Cape the Jacky Jacky is well protected during the wet season and while the south-eaterly trade winds blow during the middle part of the year. It is a great day out for anglers and anyone looking to see special prt of the Cape.
